Hey Honey, Want to do some research?!
Laura Wright (Cassie) did some steamy research for her latest daytime role when she was in Washington, D.C., to visit her family. "The show told me to go to a couple of strip clubs and see how it's done, which I wanted to do anyway." She says. "Not just for what happens on stage, because I'm going to be choreographed for that, but to really see what it would be like to be doing that," says Wright, who will be struting her stuff as Cassie.
"When you see her, she will be in a strip club in Illinois. It's certainly not what she wants to be doing, but she doesn't know any other way. She's very strong-willed, strong-minded, very defensive." So how did Wright's husband, John, react to helping out with her research? "He said 'I think I can handle that. There are some nice clubs in Washington. I think we'll go for lunch.'"
