Kiss And Tell

Actors are asked to do more than just learn their lines and hit their marks. For example, Guiding Lights Laura Wright (Cassie) says one aspect of her job is this: "I roll around and kiss people for a living!" Wright is just kidding but doing love scenes does require some class and courtesy. "I don't think I ever have bad breath. I think I'm fine, but the person I'm kissing may not feel that way," she says with a laugh. As such, breath mints are a must. Another thing, the actress suggests, is having an understanding with her co-stars regarding what's cool and what's not. "I think you don't put your tongue in someone else's mouth, and don't eat onions right before a love scene. There's a certain etiquette. Do unto others as you would have done unto you." That's why she's always relieved when her leading men refrain from such nasty habits as, well, eating garlic knots before taping. "That would be extremely offensive, don't you think? It would be like, 'Eww.'"
