Cassie Sees Dinah! -- SOD 9/7/04

After weeks of lurking in the shadows, Dinah finally reveals herself to Cassie. "Cassie is as stunned as Dinah is," previews Gina Tognoni (Dinah) about the characters' first face-to-face meeting in more than five years.
Choosing this particular moment wasn't part of Dinah's plan. Turns out, Cassie and RJ get trapped in a burning barn, and Dinah takes advantage of the situation. "To Dinah, it was a nice surprise, " explains Tognoni. "Unfortunatley, the circumstances were not what she anticipated, so she's knocked a little off-center."
Of course, there's no time to talk about the past. Both women are focused on getting RJ to safety. "This circumstance of the fire supercedes everything that has happened in their shared history," notes the actress. "in the sense that they aren't going to talk about things--right now."
Yep, that's what the future is for, and Dinah plans to make the most of it. "Dinah has been gathering information that she can hold against Jeffrey, Edmund and Cassie," hints Tognoni. "She's going to use every bit of it."
