Stars Share The Secrets To Giving A Sizzlin' Soap Kiss

(This is just the Laura parts)

"Even though love scenes look sexy and pretty, the most intimate thing we do, as actors, is kissing," says Guiding Light's Laura Wright. So how do daytime stars deliver on-screen smooches that leave you, if not their characters, breathless? Soaps in Depth got several vets to reveal what - and what not - to do when locking lips.

Pardon my French?
"No tongue, no tongue," says GL's Wright, answering the big question on fans' minds. "I've never had anyone put their tongue in my mouth; I think it's a given rule." While at rare times there may be a "slip," Wright shares, "you're always like, 'Don't think I didn't notice the tongue!'"

How do you know when to stop?
Directors don't dictate "time limits" for clinches. Instead, "They may tell you it only has to last 'a long time,'" says Wright. "But when they want to (circle the camera) around you, you're like, 'Oh my God! I have to kiss him for that long?!'"
