Daytime Cheerleader!

Some soap stars view daytime as a "bridge" to primetime or features, but not Guiding Lights Laura Wright (Cassie). She's a soap opera cheerleader! "I love doing daytime television. I think its fun, its hard work, and I don't think it gets the respect it deserves. Not in the least," says the daytime vet. "I'd like to see anybody walk onto this show and do what we do, the way we do it and as fast as we have to do it," she adds displaying a proud and protective attitude. So don't you dare diss daytime to this lady, who has played on the other side of the bridge and, well, has not been so impressed: "I think what we pull out of our hat is roses compared to the stuff I see that hits the air on primetime television. I'm a big, huge fan and supporter of daytime television."
