Guiding Light's Laura Wright (Cassie) is quick to dispel the notion that her fan following has any impact on her life with husband John. "My being recognized on the street, whatever fame I have, is a nonissue," she maintains. In fact, she quips, "I'm not really that famous!" One aspect of her job, though, does follow her home at times. "Playing stories like [Richard's death] is an issue," she shares. "If I go home and I'm not in a very good mood, or I don't want to deal with anything, or [my character] has been depressed a lot, I just let him know that it has nothing to do with him."
