Laura Wright (Cassie) hopes that as her daughter, Lauren, 4, and son, John, 2, grow up, they make holiday-time memories much like the ones the actress has of her own childhood Christmases. "My sister and I are only 13 months apart, so we got the same of everything, but in different colors," she recalls. "But the funniest Christmas was when my brother was 8 or 9 years old and got his drum set. My dad is the kind of guy who cannot fix anything. So when my brother sat down, he hit the drum once and the entire set fell apart! He was screaming and crying& it was so funny." The best Christmas present Wright remembers receiving as a kid wasn't anything like a doll, but had four legs and a tail. "It was the year I got my horse. I was 12," she smiles. "My brother and I snuck out of our rooms really early with a flashlight, and there were two saddles sitting in the living room underneath the Christmas tree. Then that morning, we got up and there were two horses outside, each with a big red bow on them. I mean, we had horses anyway, out in our barn. But I had no idea at all I was getting my own horse!"

That's A Fact: As a teen, Wright sold pretzels at R.F.K. Stadium in Washington, D.C.
