Laura Wright, whose GL character is a former stripper, admits that she never could have done justice to a role like Cassie at the time she made her soap opera debut as a nubile yet most impressionable college coed. "Please. I didn't have any life experience when I started on Loving. I was 20 years old," the actress points out. "But my innocence worked so well for Ally, because she was supposed to be this shy, innocent thing who knew nothing about life. But I never could have played a character like Cassie back then - she was so in-your-face and rough around the edges. In those days, I didn't even know what that was!"
