Between her two houses, two children and a full-time job, GUIDING LIGHT'S Laura Wright (Cassie) is one busy woman. But at least the actress knows she can count on a little "me" time come Mother's Day! "Usually, my husband, John, takes the kids, and I get to do something alone!" laughs the mom of 5-year-old Lauren and 3-year-old John. "My mother-in-law will come up, and we usually go out for brunch or dinner." The morning, however, always starts off with Wright lounging in bed and receiving hand-made cards from her little darlings... Even if the surprise wake-up isn't much of a surprise. "I can hear my husband in the other room say, 'Go tell her Happy Mother's Day.'" Last year, however, little John got the holiday confused. My son came in and said, 'Happy Birthday,'" laughs the actress. "John was like, 'No, not birthday! Mother's Day!' It was very cute." Either way, we're sure it was as adorable as Wright's little blonde moppets are.
