Laura Wright (Cassie) enjoys being a mother to Lauren, 5, and John, 3, but she's also familiar with the mishaps and responsibilities that go along with parenthood. "Beth Ehlers (Harley) says, 'One kid is an accessory; two is a family.' She's so right! You can go anywhere with one," laughs Wright. Like any parent, she's learned to roll with the punches. "Every stage is there for a reason," says the actress. "Temper tantrums, peeing on themselves, knocking things over....but that's what they're supposed to do." While it may be the kids' job to be kids, Wright has quite a different one. "My job is to do what I can, to the best of my ability, to shape [them]." And she knows the most important lesson she can teach them is to avoid trouble. "There are rules," she explains. "There are ways that things happen, and you have to do that. And if you don't, you're going to be a pretty miserable kid."
