Question and Answer with Laura Wright --- May 22, 2003

Hello- Lets see if I can answer all of the questions. Sorry that it has taken so long to get back to you guys- Work- kids and the emmys - Life has been crazy.

1. (Julie) Kinda silly, but where is your favorite place to shop for clothes?

Julie- My favorite place to shop is Ralph Lauren- I love his store- I go to Short hills Mall- I love his store there.

2. (Erin) How is your family doing?

Erin- My family is doing great!!! 3. (Judy) Are your real life children as "invisible" as Will and RJ? Are we ever going to see the boys again? Does Lauren know what you do for "work" and does she ever watch you on TV?

Judy- No my real life children are not invisible- Lauren loves to come to work with me- its just that they have so many activities and play dates that I'd rather them be outside playing with friends and doing gymnastics then at work in the City with me. I know that it sounds bad but unless it is for a story point- it can be difficult to always have the children on- I love the little boys who play Will and RJ, they are great- and yes I feel like a bad Mom- but almost all soap moms suck so what do ya do. Yes, Lauren knows what I do for a living- she watches sometimes- I don't really think that a soap opera is good TV for her to watch but sometimes if I'm dressed up or like the other day when Cassie found the lizard in her bed- she loved that.

4. (Jenny B.) How has Bradley Cole's return changed/affected your personal point of view on a romance between Cassie and Edmund?

Jenny- How has Bradley's return changed my personal view of Cassie and Edmund??? Well I think that it makes a great soap story- I think that every time she looks at Jeffery that it should affect her- But I think that all this is happening at a time in her life when she was finally ready to move on- and since Mr. O'Neill can be a little rude at times she's not falling head over heals right away- And it is possible that seeing Jeffery pushes her toward Edmund because she doesn't want to fall for him- I hope that makes sense.

5. (Jill) What would you and Beth Ehlers say is the best part of your friendship? Do you have a favorite scene of Beth's?

Jill- I think the best part of my friendship with Beth or the most fun for me at least is that she makes me laugh- She is very supportive and very funny- I love her work in general she is a great actress and sooo supportive in her work- she is all around a great gal!!

6. (Amber) How do you keep your focus and composure with your job when you hear the rumors and complaints from fans of the show, degrading your TV character, or even worse, you? Keep up the great work. You're doing awesome.

Amber- I don't let what some of the fans say get to me- People are entitled to their opinion- and some people go back and forth- That's great- I'm a fan of television and I yell at my favorite character and if I always did the right thing then I would be boring- Look at some of your most popular soap characters- They have very colorful pasts and most you love to hate. Some people have a bit of a problem with Edmund and Cassie and they should- but it wouldn't be worth doing if people were ok with. If you're happy on daytime- most of the time you don't work- and I want to work.

7. (Linda) What would you like to see happen with Cassie's storyline down the road?

Linda- I would love for Cassie to have a major Alias story- Big time CIA stuff- I love Alias it is my favorite show and I love doing my martial arts on the show- so I think that would be fun.

8. (Sharon) If you could own one exotic pet, what would it be and why?

Sharon- I have 2dogs- 2 cats- 2 turtles- and 1 bunny and my husband keeps bees at our country house and now he wants to get some chickens- I don't want anything else!!!!!!

9. (Shirley) How does it feel to have Bradley back at Guiding Light even though you are not working together now? And Are you anxious to be able to work with him in the future?

Shirley-I love having Bradley back- As everyone knows I missed him very much- I really do hope that they put us together down the road- way down so that it will work out storyline wise because if the put us together to soon then we'll have no story.

10. (Debbie) Laura, would you like to see Will be made the child of Richard & Cassie in the future?

Debbie- I would love for Will to turn out to be Richard and Cassies' but I think that it would have been a better story to do when Richard was still alive.

11. (Mal) Has Bradley ever played any of his music for you or sang anything?

Mal- yes I have heard Bradley play and he is wonderful- I think he writes beautiful music.

12. (Diane) You were paired with Bradley Cole for almost 3 years and the electricity and chemistry was phenomenal. How does it feel doing romantic scenes with David Andrew McDonald with Bradley looking on now that Bradley is back as a completely different character?

Diane- It is a little weird doing romantic scenes with DAM but I think that is because I worked with Bradley for so long- but David is a wonderful actor and I don't think Bradley is that upset- I'm sure soon enough he'll be kissing on someone-it is a soap- Plus I'm more concerned about my husband being upset- so as long as he seems to be ok then I'm ok.

13. (Tanya) Any thoughts on being a guest on Live with Regis and Kelly? I would love to see you and Kelly together. I love the little stories she tells on the show sometimes about things the two of you have done.

Tanya- I would love to be a guest on Regis and Kelly- but I think that it is really hard- I'm on CBS and she works for ABC.

14. (Arlie) What kind of hobbies do you have?

Arlie- My hobbies- Tae kwon do- I love it- I love yoga- and of course my kids- and any alone time I get with my husband is the best!!!!

15. (Mary) I saw your house tour on Soapnet. Just wondering whose job it is to get the honey from the bees?

Mary- My husband John does all the bee stuff I have no problem eating the honey but no way in hell am I going out to get it.

16. (Beca) Laura, How do you like having Bradley back on the show?

Beca- I love having Bradley back on the show- I think he is a wonderful actor and I can't wait to work with him again especially now- He is a totally different character.

17. I loved seeing you kick butt with your Tae Kwan Do and relax with the Yoga. Did you enjoy incorporating these personal hobbies into your storyline?

My Tae kwon do and my yoga were brought into the show because they found out I could do it and they thought it would be fun-I loved it.

18. How much adlibbing do you do? The "good for toning your butt" comment comes to mind. Was that in the script or did you adlib it?

We get to adlib a little- some do it more than others- The butt line was in the script- I thought it was very funny.
